Ensure safety in your establishment with this Kidde battery-operated intelligent smoke alarm 21027308. This smoke alarm contains a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke. It has a loud piezoelectric horn that emits 85 decibels at 10' away to audibly alert patrons. This is paired with a voice warning system that verbally announces "fire!". This unit can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It immediately activates once turned on or mounted to the included bracket.

This unit allows you to wirelessly interconnect up to 24 Kidde devices (sold separately). It uses a proprietary radio signal to join the alarms together so that when one alarm sounds, all the alarms will sound. To locate a single alarm, it has an alarm locate feature to silence all other alarms. It also has an alert to indicate when an alarm has lost connection to the network. This system is easy to set up by simply pushing a single button to interconnect multiple alarms. For additional convenience, this unit can connect to the Kidde RemoteLync Bridge mobile app to monitor your alarm from a smart device.

This alarm has intelligent sensor technology that helps distinguish real threats to reduce nuisance alarms. It features a test / hush alarm control button which can test the alarm circuitry and silence any nuisance alarms for up to 10 minutes. It uses a red LED light to indicate alarm mode, a green LED light to indicate that it is working properly, and am amber LED light to detect an error. To operate in top condition, this alarm includes a bug screen that prevents insect ingression. When nearing the end of its life, it will chirp with a "replace alarm" voice notification. This notification can be silenced to provide you with time to install a replacement. You can also silence the chirp that indicates a network error.

This alarm operates using a lithium-ion battery. It is tamper proof to prevent unauthorized removal, and it lasts for up to 10 years. To prevent late night battery chirps, it has an ambient light sensing feature that detects when it is day or night. This prevents the alarm from chirping in dark conditions when the battery is low.
