Ensure safety in your establishment with this Kidde battery-operated carbon monoxide alarm 21010073. This alarm uses an electrochemical sensor to detect carbon monoxide. It has a loud piezoelectric horn that emits 85 decibels at 10' away to audibly alert patrons. It is easy to install on any wall or tabletop, and it will automatically activate once attached to the included mounting bracket. This unit can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

This unit features a test / reset button to easily test that it is working properly or to reset the alarm. It also allows you to immediately silence any nuisance alarms triggered be non-hazardous sources. This unit includes a red LED light that flashes in alarm mode, a green LED light to indicate that the unit is working properly, and an amber LED light to indicate fault mode. If the alarm previously detected dangerous CO levels in the last 14 days, the red LED light will flash every 60 seconds.

This unit includes a sealed-in lithium-ion battery for operation. Since it is battery operated, it will work during power outages. The alarm conveniently chirps when the batteries need to be replaced. This chirp can be silenced by using a screwdriver to deactivate the unit and make it safe for disposal. The battery is tamper proof to prevent unauthorized removal, and it lasts for up to 10 years.
