We bought this to make family gatherings more fun but it works just as well as the one at the deli! We make nice thick shakes with regular ice cream and our own custom topping. Freezes too. Easy to clean, attractive and sturdy!

GREAT SINGLE MIXER FOR MILKSHAKES WITH EASE OF CLEANING AND OPERATION. THIS IS A VERY STURDY LITTLE MACHINE AND FAIRLY QUITE.
I ordered 2 of these for making milkshakes, within 4 months they were both broke. One the motor started smoking, the other one, the blade that mixes the shake came off and would not stay on after that. I ended up ordering one more to get us through until we could buy a better quality mixer. If they are going to be used with only soft serve ice cream or liquids i think it would have held up longer. We used ours for both soft serve ice cream and hard ice cream. We will not be using the new one for hard ice cream.
