The double wall stainless steel construction ensures long-lasting durability, and the cool-touch front helps prevent burns while operating.

The burner has an adjustable pilot for easy use, and a trough and catch tray make this unit incredibly easy to clean. Thanks to its 4" adjustable stainless steel legs, this griddle can stay secure and even at the perfect operating height. The Globe GG24TG countertop gas griddle is field convertible from natural gas to liquid propane.

    I was initially attracted to this unit because it has 3 zones of thermostatic control and a 1" steel cooking plate. For the price it seemed to be a good value. However, this unit has proven to be the most unreliable commercial kitchen equipment I have ever owned in 20 years of operating restaurants. It suffers from pilot and thermostat failure on a regular basis. Typically, one of the 3 burners will die and not restart. After two years of ownership, it has been serviced under Globe's product warranty 4 times. Each time has involved at least 4 days of down time, with the worst being 9 days. Globe uses subcontractors to perform the warranty repair work and based on some of the antics we've seen they don't seem to be "top notch" technicians to say the least - frequently using Read More
