What is the best way to care for my melamine item?
In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units. The product is very good quality, very light and resistant to hits, dishwasher save, I’ve had it for more than six month without any descoloration.

I manage a bowling center with a full sports bar. We use these plates to serve buyers, sandwiches, wraps and certain appetizers and they work great. So far we have been using these plates for just over a year and they have held up amazingly well to the constant abuse they get. The only negative is they aren't microwave safe, but that hasn't been a big deal for us. These plates are fairly expensive, but they look great! When we serve the customer something on these it's always memorable for them. I would recommend these plates to anyone looking for a durable yet elegant looking plate.

Awesome quality melamine plates that get the job done without breaking or chipping very easily. They look great but aren't very easy to clean just because it is a shiny black surface so if you have ANY issues with hard water, it will leave hard water streaks. Just a heads up
