Garde DM38 3/8" Heavy-Duty Table Mount Vegetable Dicer

It seemed like a very good product at first, before I noticed some tiny black pieces of plastic in my tomatoes and onions after several uses. As a matter of fact, the Push Block is being cut along my onions and tomatoes. It is a shame because this product saves a lot of time! I would have rated this product 5 stars.

Great time saver. Not giving 5 starts because of the condition of the veggies after dicing. Not anywhere near comparable to the crisp fresh look of hand diced veggies. But it is a huge time saver. Has turned a 45 min job into just a few minutes. And you have to use lots more force than I anticipated. You basically have to slam the handle onto the veggies. Maybe the higher prices ones work better. I have never used one until now. And I do with there was a better way to clean blade. Veggies get stuck in corners of squares.

Bought in '23 but since we are a seasonal establishment only used for 3 months . Black pieces are shearing off push block and getting into salad. Actually a safety issue and liability some one can hurt teeth on it . I expected more from webstaurant.....

Hunk of junk. It can’t even cut up a 1/8 of a yellow pepper or a 1/4 of an onion without getting stuck.

Great easy to use dicer. Don't need to apply too much pressure to get it to work. We've been using it to speed up the prepping process

Lasted about a year had to buy another one simply because the parts to replace it id rather buy a new one thats bigger , but maybe for a smaller restaurant it would be ok

We have one in both of our restaurants and love them. We dice up onions, tomatoes and green peppers daily and it really makes it easier. The blades hold up well, we used the original for about 18 months before replacing. I definitely recommend this and the price is reasonable.

Great for dicing vegetables in to consistent and equal sized cubes. I use this product for everything from onions to carrots to items that are more delicate such as tomatoes. Great product and save an immense amount of time.

Broke fast, leaving black plastic in tomatoes. Probably we're to high volume for this product.

I actually ordered this to cut mushrooms. I was surprised (in a good way) at how heavy and sturdy this is! I've had similar in the past but this is by far the best one I've ever had! Solid construction, the wire is thick and slices cleanly.

ATTENTION: Would have been a great product had it not shaved the plastic pusher block into the food. Please notice the tiny sharp black plastic bits in the chopped veggies when you use the product, perfectly visible when you cut white onions. The company has to redesign this product. Just sharing my experience for the benefit of the users. Thank You.

I work at a restaurant and we desperately needed a dicer. This serves its purpose very well. It is also compatible with different blades and blade blocks.

Works great. Had a hard time finding a 1/4 dicer and this one works great. Not sure what the difference is between expensive ones but this works perfect.

You might as well call this dicer a second prep cook! It works great and is actually surprisingly easy to clean. We have had no issues chopping a wide variety of foods.
