This Galaxy 177GBBBLOCK2 locknut is a perfect replacement for the one that came with your Galaxy GBB480 or GBB640 series blender! The locknut installs on the bottom of the blender jar and holds the components of the blade assembly in place so that they do not come loose during operation. If the locknut is damaged, it's important to replace it promptly to ensure safety while the blender is in use.
