I use these for coffee and hot water. Coffee stays warm enough to serve for about 6-7 hour. You can drop these and they will be fine, have been using over a year and haven't lost one yet.
This is one of the best purchases I've ever made for my business, the coffee is almost hotter than when it went in, my customers used to complain about coffee temperature, but not anymore.
Keeps coffee extremely hot for really long. I've poured coffee from this carafe after three hours and it's still steaming hot which makes me feel bad throwing the coffee out! The orange top is very useful for distinguishing between decaf and regular coffee.
