Its mild, neutral taste makes tofu an extremely versatile ingredient and it easily absorbs marinades, sauces, and other ingredients to pair with the flavors of your recipes. Featuring an firm texture, this tofu holds its shape well when being cooked, making it a great choice for pan-frying, stir-frying, deep-frying, or baking. To ensure the tofu has optimal cooked texture, it is suggested to remove as much liquid as possible prior to cooking. Simply place the 14 oz. block between a tofu press or clean, absorbent towels and set a weighted object onto the top towel press and let sit for approximately 20-30 minutes. If marinating, is also recommended to soak the tofu in the marinade for at least 30 minutes prior to cooking to ensure maximum flavor. This tofu is vacuum sealed to lock in its freshness.
