The Black Beans smelled fragrant and fresh when I opened the plastic bag inside their little box. They looked like they are a great quality, but I have not cook them yet, as I am just now putting up my pantry. One 20lb box of beans fit perfectly into a Araven 03035 1/2 Size Translucent Polypropylene Food Pan with Airtight Lid - 8" Deep.

We have used these black beans since our beginning. People usually ask why not just buy the 10# cans. Bean's arent complicated it just takes a while to cook them. Trust me they are better than the cans. I use a huge stock pot, sit it on the grill on less busy days and end up with 60 lbs of freshly cooked beans. They taste great even after being frozen. This makes one of our fan favorites much more profitable.

Although they are dried black beans they still come out tasting just fine. It is a nice large 20 pound container, and is always used up.

The first day the beans came, I had to try a recipe. They are clean and an excellent bean. I will be bagging these up for future recipes. There are whoke beans, not pieces and broken beans. Cooked beautifully

These are our favorite beans! They are so fresh. The expiration date is well over a year, so these will last. Just make sure you put them in a good storage container. Great flavor and side dish.

These beans are ok, they are a bit on the smaller side but they cook out well and I'd recommend these to others The packaging they came in was decent no beans spilling out so i was very happy with that. I'll be storing some in a few mason jars i have left.

As I just bought them for home use, it was hilarious getting a 20 pound sack of black beans in the mail, but it's a fantastic price! I have used them for rice as well as a southwestern-style black bean salad. So far they are good.

Awesome quality black beans. We normally prepare them in a pressure cooker for 25-27 minutes with 1 part black beans and 1.5 parts vegetable broth, or we add a little more liquid and some other ingredients to make black bean soup.

This goes great with white rice. I boils tge beans add a littke bit of sea salt to enhance the taste and pair it with white rice and it makes an amazing dish.

VERY poor quality black beans! A large percentage of these beans are split in half and they are VERY small, with a lot of them as small as 3mm. There is also a VERY large amount extraneous material (husks, plant material & dust) in them. This is my first time buying from this company and I won't buy from them again. VERY dissatisfied with this purchase, but don't feel like dealing with the hassles of lugging 100lbs of beans to shipper and waiting for a refund. Wish I would have done my homework first. BUYER BEWARE!

Whats great for us is the package size is just right. Not a 50 lb bag that we just don't have storage for and not a tiny 5lb bag that we would have to order every week. great

great price for good protein and fiber! I use these in chili all the time, as well as Spanish rice and tacos. I transfer the beans to glass mason jars to prevent insect infestation.

The Black Beans were good quality. Only draw back was that they were not as clean as I have gotten from other sources. Granted the pricing was a little better. We make in a large roaster 20 quart size. For a batch that size we pulled out about a handful of Pinto Beans and stones.

These dried black beans are easy to use! Soak them over night and cook in chicken stock! Great for black bean and corn salsa but better yet for a black bean salad!!!
