Warning - We would not recommend buying this turner if used in a commercial environment. We purchased this for our commercial kitchen and the blade rusted within a few days of use. It is now so rusted that it will need to be returned or discarded. To minimize rusting, this item would need to be towel dried promptly after every use and after washing. Towel drying does not meet Minnesota Department of Health Food Service code nor the codes of most states. Therefore, this item is not properly designed for such environments.

I loved using these on our griddle and in the large sauté pans. They are super sturdy but have enough flexibility to get under the food, whether it's a burger or a mess of hash browns, and to scrape the bottom of the pan when reducing or making gravy.

Looks great right out of the box, just as expected from the website. I'm psyched to use this. The beechwood handle is raw, so maybe just a coat of mineral oil on it. Solid construction with full tang handle held together with brass rivets. Seems to have a good balance and and the blade has a nice flex to it which springs back. This is going to be my go-to spatula for sure.

We swear by these Dexter wood handled turners. We have two of them and they last a long time and just work the best compared to any we have previously used.

Did not hold up and rusted right away. Webstraunt credited us back because their customer service is second to none. I would not hesitate to purchase any products from them.

We are sorry this turner did not hold up for you, but thank you for contacting us so we could get you credit for your defective item! If you have any questions in the future, please do not hesitate to ask!

We use these to stir large volumes of sauces and they work great. Dexter Russell is a great brand with quality products. I imagine this product lasting a couple of years with daily use.

I usually buy Dexter-Russell Turners, but in the Walnut Handle version. I gave this version with the mild steel a shot, but found that in the *pretty extreme* environment of my restaurant the upkeep for the mild steel was its downfall. These are nice for working a flat-top, and hold up decently, but in time the leading edges start to deform, and if you don't discard them in time, could chip off. The biggest issue came when exposed to moisture, the handles swelled up a little and unless coated in oil, they will surface-rust. For a cheesesteak shop, I'll have to stick to the Stainless/Walnut version.

This is my go-to turner. The steel has a perfect spring which is firm but yields when you want it to. The edge is not knife sharp, yet it slices through meats when pressed and keeps its edge. In a word, the turner is versatile in the best ways. The photo shows the wavy lined in the carbon steel which provide its resilience. The handle is not dishwasher safe and should be treated like a cutting board. I use mineral oil periodically. Despite some fingerprints here and there, the thing stays in like new condition despite heavy use.
