Not only capable of measuring scalding temperatures of boiling liquids, but it can also read the temperature of products in your deep freezer. Plus, it's compatible with all Type-K thermocouple probes with a standard mini-connector.

The thermocouple boasts incredible accuracy of + / - 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit (+ / - 0.3 degrees Celsius) when in ambient temperatures from 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 30 degrees Celsius). Thanks to its digital display with a clear 0.1 degree resolution, it ensures that even the newest member on your staff can confidently and accurately adhere to temperature monitoring standards of your HACCP plan. The instrument's durable ABS housing is ergonomically designed to rest comfortably in your hand and IPX7 waterproof rated, guaranteeing outstanding longevity even in the toughest kitchen environments. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the machine automatically shuts off, which helps to preserve battery life. It includes 2 AAA batteries that are easily accessible through the twist-open hatch.

This kit includes 3 probes for the ultimate versatility. The 50012-K angled surface probe is designed with a swivel bell sensor to closely follow and measure the temperature of flat surfaces, from platens to griddles. It measures temperatures from -40 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and provides accurate readings in as little as 4 seconds on oiled surfaces. The 50209-K MicroNeedle probe has a 1 mm diameter needle point tip ideal for direct insertion and immersion applications in liquids and semi-solid foods. It has a temperature range of -100 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and provides temperature readings in as little as 1 second when immersed in liquids. Lastly, the 50306-K air temperature probe consists of a perforated probe tip and 43" long cable with a braided steel exterior that protects it from the extreme environments of coolers, freezers, and ovens, and includes a built-in shield to prevent stainless steel equipment surfaces from throwing off temperature readings. It conveniently clips onto the inside of your refrigeration or convection equipment to provide accurate temperature readings in as little as 1 second in liquids, or 10 seconds in 5m/sec air streams, offering a temperature range of -100 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
