Monitor pipe temperatures to ensure a safe environment with this Cooper-Atkins 54011-K -25 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit pipe strap thermocouple temperature probe. If your facility has concerns with pipes overheating or freezing, this pipe strap temperature probe can help you keep a closer eye on them and prevent problems down the road. When the probe is installed on a pipe, it can instantly provide you with the data you need. Simply plug the probe into a Type-K thermocouple instrument (sold separately) and it will display the temperature immediately. This probe is tested to an accuracy of +/- 2.5 degrees Fahrenheit, but accuracy may vary depending upon the type of application and the cleanliness of the pipe, among other factors.

Designed with a special strap-hook closure to secure the probe to a pipe, this probe has a long 11" strap so it can work with pipes that are up to 3.3" in diameter. It is perfect for tight spaces where you may have trouble reaching a pipe with a different type of temperature measuring device. The strap even has an easy mount quick release feature to help staff install and uninstall it with minimal hassle. Also, this probe comes with a 10' straight cable that has a polyurethane jacket. The cable is perfect for those applications where the pipe is located high up or otherwise out of reach. Simply install the probe once and run the cable to a nearby location that is easier to access when you need to check the pipe's temperature.
