Cooper-Atkins 50360-K Details

Ensure the integrity of your facility's HACCP plan by monitoring food safety with this Cooper-Atkins 50360-K oven needle thermocouple temperature probe. With its longer shaft and overbraided cable design, this thermocouple probe is great for use inside an oven. Getting food to the right temperature and keeping it there is essential to food safety, and this temperature probe allows you to keep an eye on food temperatures during the cooking process since it can be inserted into food before cooking.

Thanks to its sensitive probe, it's perfect for use with thick, dense meats, though versatile enough to work with other food products as well. It features an impressive temperature range, measuring from -40 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit with a response time of just 2 seconds when used in liquids. Plus, this probe has a longer shaft length of 5 1/2" so that it can be inserted deeper into large roasts or pans of food giving staff an accurate reading of the temperature in the center of the food.

Part of this thermocouple probe's special design is the cable which features a stainless steel overbraid. This overbraid protects the cable against most oven door closures so that you can leave the probe inserted in food during the cooking process while the cable transmits temperature data to the thermocouple instrument (sold separately) outside the oven cavity. The cable can withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
