The probe features an impressive temperature range ideal for high heat applications, measuring from -40 to 1,202 degrees Fahrenheit in just 1 second.

The quick response time is made possible by using a drop of oil on the surface being measured, which helps to conduct the heat. The max temperature tolerance of the ceramic tip is 1202 degrees Fahrenheit. For comfort and ease of use, the instrument is equipped with a phenolic handle. Both lightweight and heat-resistant, it is an excellent choice for high-heat applications, and has a maximum temperature tolerance of 325 degrees Fahrenheit. This probe includes a 48" retractable coiled cable that ensures good maneuverability and ample reach while eliminating cable dragging. The cable can withstand exposure to temperatures up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit.
