The distance to target ratio (DTR or "distance to spot ratio") shows the diameter of the circle of the surface area being measured. For instance, a 12:1 DTR measures a 1" diameter from 12" away, or a 2.5:1 DTR measures a 1" diameter from 2 1/2" away. Keeping your distance from what you are measuring will ensure extra cleanliness in your business.

This probe is a direct replacement for the original one that came with your FoodPro Plus thermometer and promotes its optimal, continued use. Just like the original probe, it features a thin-tip for precise measurements of food core temperatures and measures temperatures from -40 to 302 degrees Fahrenheit. It can be flipped down or stored within the thermometer's housing while not in use.
