I purchased this set of three and have been very pleased with the 8” & 10” skillets. However, when I recently used the 12” skillet for the first time I noticed oil seeping out just below the handle. When I looked closer, I noticed a crack (see pic). Because of the low price I didn’t want to waste my time with a return so I will place it in with the recycling. The reason for reporting this is to inform you that you or your supplier has a quality control issue. Th is should have never shipped. JB

They are preseasoned which is great but I would recommend seasoning them in between to keep them up. You definitely will want these to last because it is a perfect set. The largest size is wide enough to make a large quantity of food and they all together makes for a cute display for my self serve tables.

This is a good quality Cast Iron Set for those dishes that don't necessarily require a full size pan. These skillets have a good weight to them, and the Pre-Seasoning is the typical quality one might expect from a decent quality set in this price range. The cooking surface of each skillet is fairly rough however. Not coarse, but still a bit rough. The product images illustrate the cooking surfaces quite accurately. As with any cast iron cookware however, the cooking surfaces on these skillets will only continue to improve with proper use and care. I personally prefer to start with the slightly smoother surface typically seen on Lodge cast iron cookware, but that's just me being picky.
