The 8qt Choice Deluxe Roll Top Chafer is much classier than just about any other Chafer I've worked with. I'd been wanting to invest in a roll top after struggling so many years in heavy volume catering business using the non-roll ones. Watching people have to juggle the pick-up top ones is just about the worst. When I first received it, I couldn't believe how much nice it looked than the photos. The Chrome accents are such a nice touch. I was initially surprised to only see reviews of the gold accented ones originally.
All that a side, the ease of the roll top ends though when it's being put to work on a line. When you need to replace your pan, you've got to completely take of the top which doesn't have an good places to grip. So once again your back in the juggling act, but this time with a much more awkward shape to deal with. You pretty much will always need 2 people to change out the pans without making a scene. So for this I'd rate 4 over 5.
