Because these carriers are made with expanded polypropylene (EPP), they offer superior temperature retention and maintains hot or cold food temperatures for up to 4 hours. These insulated pan carriers feature a professional grade construction made from expanded polypropylene (EPP), an insulated material with a high level of durability. Quickly and safely transport these 3 pan carriers with the included compact dolly. This dolly can transport up to 550 lb. of stacked food pan carriers. Its sturdy, light weight, shock-resistant ABS frame and high-quality polypropylene wheels are built to last. 2 fixed casters and 2 swivel casters provide ultimate control over even and uneven surfaces with ease. This dolly comes with a removable EPP insert with 4 holes to match up with the base of the EPP unit front loaders (sold separately). The holes create a snug fit that won't shift while you're pushing and transporting the carrier. Also, they make stacking 2 units on top of one another more secure. The EPP insert can be removed to accommodate larger food pan carriers.

NO WAY TO GET REPAIR PARTS FOR THIS! Buyer beware. This is a "private label" item and if it breaks, WebstaurantStore.com will not help you with replacement parts, even though they "control the manufacturing" of the product. I found this out the hard way. Loved the pan carriers. I use them at markets to keep our fresh pasta packages cold. But the latches are flimsy and hard to open and close and last winter the first latch broke (we have 3 carriers). The second latch broke this spring, and the third gave up the ghost last week. Not surprising, since the latches are just thin pieces of plastic that clip closed and literally have to be pried open. Great box for caterings. This is light weight, easy to maneuver and handle and seem like it will hold up well. It shipped quick and arrived intact.

The handle on one of the pieces is almost impossible to use to open. And I paid a huge amount of money for it and it came missing the STRAP????

This is light and works great! Holds temperatures great. I thinkits a great alternative to the more expensive Cambro option
As the interior and the rails are made of foam, the foam chips off when we slide standard stainless steel sheet pans in an out. Don't think this will last 6 months with our use.
