Secure the doors at restricted access points within your establishment with this Barska EA12936 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 6" white reversible-handle biometric security door lock. Intended for indoor use only, this door lock is designed to replace a typical door handle. It provides 3 methods of access to restricted areas by authorized personnel via the fingerprint scanner, RFID scanner, or manual key lock in the exterior handle. Both the biometric fingerprint and RFID scanners are designed to respond quickly to provide access in mere seconds. The unit's central memory bank allows you to register and store 20 fingerprints, programmable up to 30 fingerprints. It also stores 1 admin user and 10 normal users for RFID access via the (20) included key fobs, programmable up to 35 users total. The manual lock is hidden beneath the removable door handle for emergency access. Two manual keys are included.

The direction of handle is reversible to accommodate installation into both left- or right-opening doors. The lock's durable ABS plastic construction ensures long-lasting use in your establishment. A metal box strike plate is included to allow the bolt to be properly secured within the frame of the door.

Rather than storing actual photographic scans of fingerprints, the lock's sophisticated fingerprint technology converts fingerprint characteristics using an encrypted algorithm, providing an additional layer of security. The unit requires (4) AA batteries (sold separately) for operation. In the event of eventual battery failure, an external 9V battery port provides a secondary means of powering the unit.
