Papercon Ecocraft

A simple story about sustainability: natural fiber paper is a growing, marketing trend due to its sustainable look. However, the real value of natural fiber goes beyond its functionality or visual appeal. The brown color is a statement of how the world strives to create more while consuming less. In the world of industry and business, waste is the number one enemy. It endlessly nibbles on time, money, and capital, by very factors spent to fight it. At times, the volume and variety of waste can feel overwhelming, but like any difficult problem, the solution is realized through a series of simple steps. A few steps that the packaging industry is taking or streamlining through supply chains and reducing raw material waste. In paper manufacturing, the processes of bleaching tree fiber wastes a fifth of the raw material. More energy and resources are required to produce the same volume of paper, since this waste occurs so early in the process, it ripples through the rest of the paper’s life-cycle. From the filling of the truck to the filling of a recycling bin, fortunately tree fiber does not need to be bleached to preserve its functionality or safety. So the next time a deli sandwich comes wrapped brown instead of white, remember that the color represents the fifth tree that was not wasted, and that using natural fiber is a simple step towards a sustainable future of creating more while consuming less.

A great liner. While it says it can be reused it doesn't fully work multiple times. My best experience is baking multiple batches of cookies back to back as opposed to saving the used parchment for another time.

I bought these because how you can reuse them plus my biggest issue with parchment is buying it by the roll and not being able to get it straighten. These are great!

Good half sheet parchment pan liners. Size is perfect for a normal half sheet pan, and being pre cut makes it that much more convenient.

We love these pan liners. They work perfect for all our baking needs and we can flip them over and use more than once for our baking!

from Sweet Spot Minis Posted on

I used this for laying over a pan and pouring a thin batter of cake. It made the separation a whole lot easier! You just have to peel it off after you flip it if making a huge cake. To keep the moisture in, I did place a same-sized pan over until the cake cooled off. NO MORE SLICING LAYERS!!

Great parchment paper, cut to size to fit half size cookie sheets. I love to use parchment paper to keep pans clean, and to help keep a nice texture on the bottom of baked goods.

    cookie dough on parchment paper

Very eco friendly. Also true to grease proof and can reuse multiple times before discarding. Exact fit to my half sheet pan. Will definitely buy again.

This size parchment makes my life so much easier. A lot of the time I even find myself only using half of a liner rather then the full sheet which makes it last longer. I've never had anything stick to it.

I make beef jerkey and i use this to line the bottom of my dehydrator tray. could have bought a roll but the fact they are pre cut is wroth it. makes clean up a breeze. it also allows me to make smaller dehydrated items that won't fall through the hole.

    Use in a dehydrator

Love this paper. We use it under the cupcakes in the case and also use it to bake cookies. It lasts use after use .Holds up well

Great for baking veggies on or for doing cookies as they do come off well and the brown means it's unbleached so there's no chance of chemicals getting into foods! Great to line foil pans with since the foil has something in it that is not good to injest, so these make it safe and also easy to clean!

I love these liners! I love the convenience of the pre-cut sheets and strongly prefer these sheets that lay flat compared to parchment that comes rolled. And of course, the price is great!

This Bagcraft Papercon EcoCraft Bake ‘N’ Reuse twelve inch by sixteen inch fifty pack of parchment paper was impressive upon arrival for the careful packaging. The sheets were intact and not bent or ripped. I appreciate that each sheet can be used several times without a burnt paper after taste and I would definitely reorder these.

Great size and I really appreciate being able to use them more than once.

I purchased these pan liners for use in my home baking. It has a stick-resistant surface that’s perfect when proofing and since they are reusable, you can go straight from a proofing stage, to the oven, and do your second batch of baking using the same liner. Afterwards, cleanup is faster since my pans aren’t as greasy. Then, you just throw the liners away and there’s no guilt since they’re a green product and if already had more than one use out of them.

The Practical Luxury You Need It was easy for me to pull the trigger on round precut parchment liners. Tracing the pan with pen or pencil seems dicey. Neither do I want to run a knife or scissors around the pan to mark the paper. Additionally, cutting circles will always waste some paper. It was harder to justify buying precut rectangles to avoid making a single straight cut from a roll of paper. Particularly when I had several rolls remaining. I ended up deciding to purchase the pack of 1000 for half-sheet pans and the 50 pack for full-sheet pans. I’m glad I did; here’s why: 1) These come flat in a box. The ends don’t curl up like they do when cutting paper from a roll. 2) They reduce waste. I would typically cut sheets longer than needed to avoid ending up with something too short. Sometimes, the paper would rip while being cut. 3) It’s easy to tell when running low vs with a roll that can end unexpectedly. 4) They fit my half-sheet pans well (although when I used them on my new cookie sheets, they came up a little short, which resulted in me making one less row of cookies than would have fit without the paper). I’m planning on adding a video soon so you can see for yourself. This is a more unusual application, but I keep eggshells to feed back to my chickens. I bake them at ~200 degrees F for 30 minutes, then crush them up and put them out for the girls. I used to keep them in a bowl until I had enough to bake. Now, I keep a half sheet pan in the oven, covered with a piece of parchment paper, and add eggshells to the sheet when I use them. When there are enough on the sheet, I’ll just turn the oven on. Convenient and there’s no unsightly eggshell bowl on the counter anymore. I could have done this with the roll paper, but having these handy precut sheets fueled my creativity. I use these liners all of the time, typically reusing each one multiple times before tossing. When I made cookies with them most recently, there were grease spots where each cookie was. Reusing them for something else weirded me out a bit, so I tossed them after the cookies were finished. The easiest way to clean a pan is to keep it from getting dirty in the first place. Parchment paper is the best tool for this job. Having these precut liners makes it more convenient to line pans 100% of the time, reducing dish washing time, and keeping my pans looking nice. No particular reason why I’m rating these 4-stars over 5, but I typically save 5-star ratings for when I am convinced that the product is better than the rest. I’m not familiar with other kinds of precut parchment sheets to know how these compare. I just know that I like them. A lot.

This parchment paper is perfect. They come in individual precut sheets and fit perfectly on my pans. I have made just about everything on this from cookies to chicken to roast potatoes. Nothing sticks.

We use these in our very small bakery case at the register. They fit great and have a nice look as opposed to the typical white ones.
