Bought an AvaTek 334PCN10 “legal for trade” scale from WebstaurantStore in July 2025. Someone accidentally stepped on the platform, which unfortunately damaged it. I contacted customer service expecting to order replacement parts, but was told the only replacement part available for this scale is the power cord. That was disappointing to hear for a scale marketed for commercial and legal-for-trade use. In a real business environment, accidents happen, and equipment at this price point should have basic repair support and parts availability. The scale itself feels much lighter-duty than expected, and finding out it’s essentially non-repairable makes it hard to justify the cost. If the platform gets damaged, your only option appears to be replacing the entire unit. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but buyers should know this scale does not appear to have long-term serviceability or parts support behind it.
