An antimicrobial additive improves safety by inhibiting bacteria growth. Plus, it includes a rubber boot for extra durability. A built-in clip makes it easy to secure to a shirt or chef coat pocket as you move around the kitchen, and it can also be used as a handle to keep your hands a safe distance away from heat. The thermometer will also turn off automatically after 10 minutes. Two LR44 batteries are included with this thermometer, while 1 is needed for operation.
