I started another new business last year and bought 4 Avantco refrigerators and 1 used 15yr old refrigerator. Guess which of these still works correctly. The insulation in Avantco refrigerator is not good enough and the temp controllers do not operate correctly. I store MILK and HALF AND HALF at 33F set point but this model and all others I purchased keep the temp at 39-42F. We loose alot of product because the shelf life is decreased. The units internal temp heats up quickly and the Avantco compressors do not turn on until the internal temp reaches 40F! The compressor then turns on and brings the air temp down to about 33F then immediately shuts off. It wont come back on until it hits 40F again which take about 30-50minutes! This fridge is a great addition to our coffee shop. We use it under our espresso machine to hold milk, cream, steaming pitchers, and syrups. It's very spacious and keeps everything cold.
