This 177MG1243 #12 stainless steel grinder plate is a direct replacement for the part that came standard on your equipment. Use it to replace a broken one quickly and easily. It's ideal for creating first grinds, chilis, or stews, and grinds 1/8" thick stands of meat.
This part is designed for use with select units in the Avantco Equipment 177MX20GRNDR, MG12, and MG12R series, as well as Backyard Pro Butcher Series BSG12 series units.

Measure the square hole in your plate or knife. A standard #12 hub fits plates and knives with a 9/16" square hole, while a standard #22 hub fits plates and knives with a 3/4" square hole.

For my #12 grinder, I required a 1/8 grind plate. This is fantastic. I always use this to ground my meat first, then add flavor and finish with a smaller grinder. This plate was immaculate. There are no burrs or sharp edges to fix. It was a perfect fit. It was a little thicker than the one that came with my grinder, but it worked great.
Wonderful product. Arrived quickly and is exactly what I was expecting. A solid plate for use in grinding that holds up well and is easy to maintain and clean.
This is a good addition to the grinder plates that come standard with the grinder. It has held up well with repeated use and produces a nice fine grind.
