OceanLoch+ Mounting Holes

A nickel-plated evaporator holds up well to moisture and is non-corrosive. The air filter is easily removable so that it can be cleaned or swapped out when it is time to be replaced.

Intuitive Diagnostics
For ease of maintenance, a built in diagnostic system will identify problems that your ice machine may be having and will display the issue on the digital controller so it can be repaired accordingly. This easy-to-use controller can also be used to monitor the current stage of ice production that your machine is in. Worked great when it was new. It completely broke down (unrepairable) 15 months later. Tech says it sounded like the armature inside the compressor (something like that) sounded like it broke. The cost to repair is higher than a new one. We got it knowing it was a cheap Chinese brand, but was hoping it'd last a few years. The good ones will last 10-15 years but will start needing expensive repairs to keep them going at some point. We were averaging $ a year in repair/maintenance costs so were hoping to find reasonably priced "throwaways" to last a few years at a time. This didn't male the cut. On to searching for the next brand.
