I purchased the Avantco ADC-12-HC for my ice cream shop, hoping for reliable performance, but my experience has been mixed after several months of use. While the unit has some strengths, several issues have made it less than ideal for our needs. The seals on the sliding glass doors are a significant weak point. They wear out quickly and feel very fragile, especially during routine cleaning and maintenance. I’ve already noticed tears forming in the seals, which is concerning for maintaining proper temperature and hygiene. Replacing them feels like it will be a recurring hassle. Storage is another major drawback. We use standard 3-gallon tubs, but accessing the storage compartment is extremely awkward. You have to remove at least four tubs to get to the stored ones, which slows down service and is frustrating during busy hours. Sliding doors are very poorly made. Seams are in the corners of the doors and within 3 months the seams are already coming apart and the seals are coming out. Very disappointed in the door design and very disappointed with this purchase!

Been using this for a year and no issues at all. Only wish they would include some sort of option for covering the glass, but no big deal.
