Why is my ice cream tub spinning when I scoop?
As the ice cream gets low, the tub no longer has the weight to remain in place. The cover of the tub has 4 slots for the included clips (packaged separately) that can be used to provide extra holding power to the tub as to prevent unwanted spinning.
Does Avantco warrant this item for use in a food truck?
Avantco warrants new equipment sold to food truck customers to be operational for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery if installed and maintained correctly.
I haven’t heard of R-290, R-600a, R-513a, or R-448A refrigerant before. What is it?
R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used as an eco-friendly refrigerant by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program. Can I install a dipper well on this product?
Yes. This dipping cabinet includes pre-drilled holes, spaced 4 inches apart, on the rear of the unit for mounting a dipper well.
Can I install casters on this product?
Yes, casters can be installed on this unit by removing the bottom panel to access the predrilled holes for the compatible plate casters.

    Save your money, this is the worst dipping cabinet we have ever bought. If I could return for something better we would. Complete frost in 3 days, seals fall off and gaps between doors so Condensation builds up inside every day. Definitely save your money and go with better quality. Had high hopes and was going to get 3. Thank goodness we got 1 to see it fist.

    Worst purchase I made. Do not go cheap on dipping cabinet, spend the extra money on quality ones. One came broken and they have been trying to fix it for 3 weeks now and I have been without this whole time. Very inconsistent temperature control. top of the tubs are melting while the bottoms are rock hard. Also if you are ever looking to upgrade to a tub skirt system these cases are 1/2" too short. You are stuck with the poor quality tub system these units come with. If I was offered to upgrade I would do it in a second, doesn't matter the cost.

    We have had 2 of these for the last 3 years. They are a good budget option. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. They still look good and preform well. The biggest complaint is that the top 2 inches of a fresh ice cream pail have a hard time staying firm in warm weather.
