This AT&T 1740 digital answering system is the perfect way to increase efficiency in your workplace! This product records outgoing and incoming memos, calls, and announcements on a microchip, ensuring instant access to messages and the ability to selectively save and delete messages with ease. It can record up to 60 total minutes of audio content, and the date / time of each message is announced right before playback. Additionally, it has a message loss prevention feature that keeps messages from being deleted if the power goes out (no batteries required), so you can listen to them once the power is restored.

For added convenience, you can also access many of this machine's features remotely using a touch-tone telephone and a personal access code, allowing you to check messages without being at your office. The call intercept feature also allows you to pick up the phone as a caller is leaving a message, so you can handle urgent matters without waiting for the recording to finish. This product requires connection to a standard wall outlet and a telephone jack. Connection to a telephone is optional.
