Our Vacmaster is an incredible tool for our kitchen. Like all kitchen equipment it needs to be maintained periodically to ensure it works to its maximum potential. This seal bar is an item that will need replaced from time to time to make sure the sealer is able to create a proper vacuum in the bag. It fit perfectly and the Vacmaster is working as good as new.
I purchased this as a backup. The unit comes with a spare set of filament wires and Teflon tape. I doubt that I will ever need the replacement bar. But man is it nice to know that you can get every part to rebuild you vacuum chamber if you had too.
The quality of the seal bar is top notch. You really need to use it hard and often to burn it out. Replacing the bar is as easy as pulling the old one out and popping the new one in.
