This is a great stone to cut your teeth on! If you're like me then when you're just starting out making pizzas by transferring them to a hot stone with a peel you're bound to rip a hole in a few crusts and get sauce on the stone. This (or getting any significant amount of liquid on it) can break any stone when you've got the oven up at the temperatures needed to get the oven spring and crispiness you're looking for. The affordability of this stone means that you don't have to worry about being out of a lot of money if this happens. Plus, it still works if it ends up in a few pieces! In addition to the low price, it's big enough to make a decent sized pie, however it was still small enough to fit into my efficiency-sized oven. I prefer this rectangular shaped style Read More

LOVE this stone for baking pizza at home. Unlike some of the reviews, I had no problems with cracking and have used my, now well-seasoned, stone in both gas and electric ovens. I think the key to breaking it into high temperatures without cracking is to heat it very gradually. I heated it to 350 and 400 on two separate occasions before going higher, then when I was ready to get to 450/500 I did so over the course of a couple hours the first time. It yields an awesome, crispy pizza crust!
Stone worked well for about a month. Guess its not really made for what i was using it for. after a month it has cracked into 4 pieces. I was using it in a TurboChef Tornado oven as a cheaper replacement to the overpriced TurboChef stone. Guess i should have spent the extra money on the real deal.
Thank you for your review, Chris. We're sorry to hear this stone didn't work out for you, but you bring up some good points that might help others. We definitely don't suggest using a pizza stone in a rapid cook oven that isn't made for that rapid cook oven. Pizza stones are hard, but brittle. Most pizza stones need to be heated from room temperature with the oven, to prevent thermal shock breaking the stone, but a rapid cook oven like a TurboChef heats up too quickly to allow this stone to heat properly. One other issue that causes breakage in pizza stones is moisture. They are porous, and water expands differently than the stone, which can also cause breakage. In addition, ceramic stones are generally rated for up to a maximum of 570 degrees, so that may have come into play in your TurboChef oven. For anyone reading this, we recommend our guide linked on the right side of this page titled, "How to Use a Pizza Stone", which goes over some of these things and more. If you need help finding the correct pizza stone for your TurboChef, please reach out to our customer service team. Thank you!
This is a great and inexpensive pizza stone. I use it at 450-500 degrees in my home oven to make pizza. I preheat it for a half hour in the oven prior to cooking. It's not really thick and heavy, but I like that because it makes it easier to store and remove from the cupboard.
Awesome basic pizza stone, has a decent weight behind it and feels like good quality for the price. I have used it a couple of dozen times with no signs of craving/warping. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap pizza stone.
This was great! Got the homemade pizza nice and crisp on the edges, and I think it would be better if I left it in the oven a bit longer. Cleanup is a breeze!
I ordered this stone for pizza making. Put the cold stone in the cold oven and set the temp for 550 degrees. I put the first pizza on the stone and it cracked. Customer service is 5 star though. Their communication and promptness are awesome! They refunded me the cost. Thanks again for the great customer service!!!

This is a decent pizza stone. Ours has gotten stained after a couple of uses, but this is of no practical importance. Our first one came broken, but the websteraunt store replaced it which was great.
Great for keeping the heat in and consistent for home ovens. The sharp corner design is not as optimal however as those corners are weaker and may chip or break off from bumps or use over time. Use two together with an oven rack in between and you'll have yourself a simple pizza oven in an oven. Great price too
Cooked a good few pizzas nice and even (at 475, then 525) but then cracked while cooking a baguette. Pretty strange, but overall I'm sure this isn't a common problem.
Excellent quality pizza stone! Perfect size to sit at the bottom of our oven. We make pizzas quite often and this stone has produced an even bake every time.
I liked this because it did heat evenly and well - it is super heavy - but ultimately I retired it because even with light home use it got so gross I couldn't bear it. I found it difficult to clean in the recommended way. I think this is personal preference more than anything which is why I'm still giving it 4 stars.
Thank you for the review! We suggest trying this Tablecraft 4103W 6" x 3" Dough Scraper to scrape and clean excess crumbs off of the pizza stone. If you are looking for a new stone, feel free to reach out to our Customer Solutions team for assistance.
It worked fine during lunch making three small pizzas at four hundred seventy five degrees but by dinner time dripped small amount of sauce and it cracked with a loud sound. Two stars because it worked for the first three pizzas but not happy with a cracked pizza stone.

Having a square stone (vs. the round) has made it easier to bake loaves of bread. This stone made a great crust on the pizza placed directly onto it as well.
This is a nice quality product for the price. I've used it to cook pizza and other products with success, and just leave it in my oven other times to maintain a more even temperature throughout the oven.
I can't say it was a good product because it came shattered from shipment but the quality of the stone looks great and I'm sure I would've loved it's performance.
I'm a person who take seriously the instructions, I read many bad reviews about this Ceramic Pizza Stone, but I tell my self probably those people doesn't follow the instructions, I was wrong, I cooked 2 pizzas, the first one was no problem but with the second the stone get broken and was a mess in my oven, I will sugest to Webstaursntstore.com to not sale this kind of bad product, it ruined our lunch, it was frustrating.

This pizza stone is an excellent addition to your kitchen. It helps your pizza crust cook perfectly and avoids soggy crust which is a horrible feature
This pizza stone is an ideal way to keep pizza crusts crisp and not soggy. I'd recommend buying multiple to save on the bulk discount.
This economical pizza stone does an awesome job baking pizzas, flatbreads, and more. The pizza stone is almost square, but take note that it is actually rectangular and put it in with the wide size parallel to the oven door to help it fit better in a residential oven. Make sure you heat the stone slowly to prevent cracking.
