This is a LARGE "bowl"... shaped more like a tray really, but I have to say that I prefer serving salads in this over a bowl, especially when there are a lot of components. The bowls tend to distribute things unevenly and leave the good stuff at the bottom. Not the case with this bowl and it works beautifully as a serving tray as well.
