This all metal pizza peel is an upgrade to the standard wood handle models. It uses three in line rivets to secure the peel to the handle and this makes for less play as you transport pizzas in and out of the oven. It should be noted that this peel gets much better after a couple weeks of use. This is because the front edge will get a little wear allowing the peel to slide easier underneath of screens, sizzlers, and pans
