What is the best way to care for my melamine item?

In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units. Avoid cutting directly on your melamine products with a serrated knife to prevent nicks and scratches. For additional guidelines, please refer to the Care and Use sheet included on this page.

    We bought these and they were originally damaged with chips around the corners upon delivery but they sent replacements. I was hesitant to get them resent because I feel they wont handle much wear and tear if the couldn't handle the shipping. Time will tell. But other then that, the product itself is very sleek. It makes food presentation pop.

    I bought this for display, and it's very pretty and sturdy. It's heavier than it looks. I wouldn't recommend it for serving by hand and walking around like for catering at an event for that reason.
