They are ok but lack the weight to be useful. Very durable but for the price I would be more inclined to purchase stoneware or porcelain. They say 20oz but they feel smaller.

These were a new purchase for a new dish we are serving. It looks great while not adding weight for servers. A great addition to our current serving ware. The only thing that seems of note is if you have hard water, the black will show the hard water stains. At least after their first wash.

These bowls were used for catering a wedding. They are sturdy and held each of my taco toppings nicely. I only gave four stars because their appearance on the table was not as elegant as I was hoping for, but they cleaned up nicely and performed well.
