    The good: they look really nice. The bad: arrived badly packed with a number of them broken en route; on top of this, the rims chip very easily, so much so that we've almost none left after two months of low season. Webstaurant's position is that they are, in fact, not durable (although the description claims otherwise) and that we should buy something else. Not impressed with the product or Webstaurant in this occasion.

    These are awful plates!! Do not buy them if you want to use them anywhere but your home and even them they will chip and break. I'm lost half of my purchanse already. They are cheap, porus ceramic centers with thin glaze. If you look at them wrong they will chip or break!!

    Don't buy these. Don't get me wrong the plates themselves are fantastic but they need to hire a packaging specialist to teach everyone how fragile items should be boxed up. Most of the plates you receive will be broken. Your replacement shipment will arrive just like the first time with most them shattered. But if you are lucky you come away with however many it is that you originally ordered.
