Customer questions about this product
- How can I properly care for this aluminum item?
- Hand washing is always the best option to ensure that your aluminum stays in best working order. However, if you decide to clean these in a dishwasher, we strongly recommend using metal-safe detergents and sanitizers to eliminate any flaking or tarnishing that could occur from some harsher cleaners.
- What's the difference between a riveted and a welded handle?
- A riveted handle is connected by small metal pieces (called rivets) that are crushed between the handle and the pan body to attach them together. This type of handle is more common on copper and aluminum cookware.
For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.
This 2.75 qt. tapered sauce pan has a hard, 3004-series aluminum body that is 3 mm thick that stands up to the toughest food service environments. This pan is great for stewing, boiling, and braising.
A tapered sauce pan is ideal for cooking at lower temperatures for a longer time, because the smaller bottom diameter allows for less heat exposure. The flared sides of the pan also allows for good stirring action.
The tapered design on this sauce pan also allows it to nest for convenient storage. This pan features a sturdy handle that's riveted on, ensuring a very rigid connection between handle and vessel, while guaranteeing longevity even in a commercial kitchen.

People Talk About:pan great sauces sauce handle pans more heats quickly aluminum
1 out of 1 found this review helpfulThis sauce pan works great. I can heat things in it, which is ultimately what I bought it for. I've had absolutely no functional problems with this pot, it heats well, cleans easily, and has a solid feeling construction. It HAS discolored quite a bit since I started using it, but that doesn't really bother me and I've not noticed any effect on the taste of my sauces or soups, even in a side-by-side comparison with my other pots. Totally recommend.
These Pans are of great quality I am very happy with these. I and glad to have these in my fleet. I will recommend these to every one.
These pans are aluminum, make sure you understand the difference between steel. They cook different and need to be treated different. Great price and value for this pan though.
these are perfect for making a 1/6th pan of a sauce. We use them for quick heating and smaller portion sauces we need and they heat quickly.
I purchased this for use at home and have been happier with this sauce pan than more expensive pans from retail stores. Buy a handle cover and all is well!
This product arrived chipped around the edge which is due to its aluminum construction. However, it is light and easy to handle and should conduct heat well on a gas range
I use this for small batch sauces and pasta at home and have no complaints. No warping, easy to clean, and no warping. It has been used and abused with no issues
Great product, sturdy, and an amazing value. Never had any problems with these at all really good pot that will pretty much last forever. Basically the same quality as way more expensive ones in my opinion
Perfect for small batches of pastry cream and other sauces. It is light weight but still very sturdy. I use it for my custards and other cake fillings.
I personally prefer commercial cook ware at home. It is easier to clean when hand washing as I don't got a automatic dishwasher at my disposal. I will definitely not hesitate to purchase another one.
I purchased this sauce pan for my step daughter to use while away at college. She loves it... says its great for boiling water for pasta. Her roommates have taken to using this little pan too. Would definitely purchase sauce pan this again.
Great pan for making sauces. however the handles have no coating so they get HOT.would be a 5 star if they had a coated handle!
We brought different sizes of tapered aluminum sauce pan, however the material of this 2.75 qt is different than the other ones 4.5 qt and 7 qt. For this size the material is lighter and thinner. Not as good as expected.
Great product if you use it as intended. This pan doesn't have any sort of coating on it so some stuff may stick to it, but I use it to boil water and reheat cold liquids etc. Don't expect this to work like an all clad pan costing upwards of a hundred dollars, but to use as a double boiler or to boil a but if water in a hurry, this is a great product. Make sure to buy a heat safe handle with this, or be prepared to use a towel because the handle gets very hot.
I purchased a very similar pan to this and the time I used it the interior turned black so I returned and purchased this one from Webstaurant Store and so far so good.
This 2.75 Qt. tapered aluminum sauce pan is a very high quality sauce pan. It has been a great addition to our kitchen equipment library.
We have been using these pans for over 15 years and were in the need to purchase more for the expanding business. they hold up amazingly and pay for themselves.
Very good price for the quality. These pans are not flimsy. You would think they are because they cost less than other suppliers, but that's just not the case
This is a great inexpensive pot for heating up sauces and soup for service! I like how it heats up pretty quickly!! Great for blanching vegetables and cooking pasta!!
I often find myself using this saucepan in place of my other, more expensive ones because it heats up more quickly. I find it does the job adequately, whether I use it for preparing sauces or boiling eggs or even cooking small pasta like farfalle or ditalini. Nothing fancy, but you can't beat the price, and it does the job. I can even put it in the oven.
