An AED (automated external defibrillator) like this device allows trained emergency responders to deliver potentially life-saving treatment until the patient can reach a hospital. Designed to keep operation as simple as possible, this AED helps guide you through each step of a rescue, while still offering trained professionals the tools necessary to assess a patient and provide more advanced care.

Includes (2) Adult Electrode Sets

It comes with (2) sets of adult Stat Padz II electrode pads, with clear accompanying instructions showing you where to place them on the patient's chest. The pads are intended for adult use, but this model can also use pediatric pads (sold separately). It can also use Zoll's popular 1-piece D-Padz electrode pad set (sold separately).

Semi-Automatic Design

Once the pads are placed on the patient's body, this semi-automatic AED will determine if and when to deliver the shock, and direct you to press the shock button when it is time. During the rescue, voice instructions with supporting text will help you administer treatment confidently. When it's time to switch to CPR, the AED will prompt you to do so, and guide you through the process with a metronome to keep pace and feedback on chest compression depth.

Durable Construction

This AED is made from polycarbonate siloxane, which is the same material used in football helmets, and it has been tested to withstand drops of over 4 1/2'. In the fast-paced world of a medical responder, this is crucial so that accidental drops don't compromise the unit.

Regular Self-Checks

To keep your AED ready to use at all times, this unit performs daily self-monitoring checks, in addition to checking whenever the unit is turned on or when a battery pack is installed. Users can also manually initiate a self-test should the need arise.

Advanced Treatment Options

Additionally, when a shock is needed this AED has Rectilinear Biphasic waveform (RBW) technology that provides more current, higher accuracy, and less risk, allowing trained responders to control for variations in patient impedance. It can store up to 5.8 hours of event data (up to 4 separate rescues) and when you need to transfer patient data, the process can be done easily via USB or a wireless connection. The large LCD display makes it easy to see the relevant rescue information like heart rate, shocks delivered, and the patient's ECG (through 3-lead monitoring).

Accessories Included

The AED comes with a 5-year warranty on the device. The Stat-Padz II electrode pads have a 2-year life, and it comes with a rechargeable battery. It has an ingress protection rating of 55.
