This Lavex Zap N Trap replacement 40W bulb is a direct replacement for the one that came with your Lavex Zap N Trap insect trap 605BZ80MAG. It is impossible to keep all mosquitoes and flies out of your enclosed patio or commercial space, but using an insect trap helps to control the flying insect population and make the space more comfortable for both employees and guests.
If a bulb in your Lavex Zap N Trap bug zapper goes out, you don't want to suffer through another influx of insects! Replace the bulbs as needed or keep an extra on hand for emergencies with this 40W UV bulb. The bulb works by drawing insects into the zapper with UV light to trap them. Two are required to replace the bulbs for one 80W unit. This bulb features a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 35.1, and bulb temperature (luring bulb color - K) of 30000. Each bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the amount of UV light it transmits. To maintain the coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of Spring.

These bulbs easily last over a year being on 24/7 in my kitchen. The light attracts the flies and the sticky paper catches them, they're a great team!
