Did not realize that this flat top is 6" less in depth than the standard countertop griddle. I do like the wells brand and feel this is solidly constructed I just don't like that it is not as deep as a standard counter top unit. I might have chosen another unit to get the additional depth, my fault for not reading the fine print.
