Details
Full of the delicious flavor of traditional pretzels in a bite-size snack and featuring a satisfying crunch with every bite, these Wege of Hanover 28 oz. pretzel o's are a versatile addition to a variety of operations! They have a traditional dark color with a delicious, full-bodied flavor that is complemented by just the right amount of salt. Plus, they are sugar free and have zero trans fats to provide you with a snack that is sure to appeal to your health-conscious customers.
Because these pretzels boast a unique circular shape, they are the perfect ingredient for making a chocolate pretzel treat! Simply place a pretzel o on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drop a chocolate drop candy, like HERSHEY'S® Kisses onto the pretzel. Bake at 350 for about 2-3 minutes, remove from the oven, and allow to cool for a sweet and savory snack that is guaranteed to please. You could also fill a large bowl with these pretzels for guests at receptions, parties, or even bars and lounges. And thanks to the large 28 oz. barrels with tight-fitting lids, you'll have plenty of product to go around and won't have to worry about freshness if it's not all used in one service period.
One of the oldest and most respected names in the pretzel baking industry, Wege of Hanover got its start in the late 1800s baking breads and rolls in the quaint town of Hanover, Pennsylvania. In the early 1920s, a German immigrant baker went to work for Wege, and while employed, he taught the Wege family an old German recipe for making a large sourdough hard pretzel, the one by which Wege is now famous. Over time, Wege of Hanover discontinued their production of breads and rolls in order to concentrate on the production of sourdough hard pretzels, and has since expanded their pretzel selection to include whole wheat varieties, flavored, all natural, organic, and kosher options.
