Watts GI-500-K Details
The Watts 1,000 lb. large capacity grease trap prevents greasy substances from entering plumbing systems, septic fields, and wastewater treatment facilities where they cannot be processed properly and could harm the environment. This unit has a flow restrictor on the inlet side of the interceptor that slows incoming effluent and redirects it through baffling inside the grease trap. As the flow is gradually slowed, lighter than water substances accumulate inside the trap above the static water line.
This grease trap is built to last, with a body made of 11-gauge cold rolled steel. The epoxy coated skid proof top is secured with hex head center bolts and a gasket. Other standard features include no hub connections, a double wall deep seal trap, and integral stainless steel flow control. This unit has a grease capacity of 1,000 lb., a flow rate of 500 GPM, and may be recess mounted or floor mounted.
