The Watts GI-400-K large capacity 800 lb. grease trap prevents greasy substances from entering plumbing systems, septic fields, and waste water treatment facilities where they cannot be processed properly and could harm the environment.

Grease traps like the Watts GI-400-K are often used with cooking or prep sinks, pot sinks, and commercial dishwashers in various types of commercial food service operations.

As the flow of water is gradually slowed by the internal baffles, lighter than water substances like grease accumulate inside the trap above the static water line.

The Watts GI-400-K Grease Interceptor is built to last, with a body made of 11-gauge cold rolled steel. The epoxy coated skid proof top is secured with hex head center bolts and a gasket. Other standard features include no hub connections, a double wall deep seal trap, and integral stainless steel flow control.

The Watts GI-400-K grease trap has a grease capacity of 800 lb., a flow rate of 400 GPM, and may be recess mounted or floor mounted.
