Solid stainless-steel spoon with heavy duty, well-built construction. Hanging hole on the back of the spoon is a nice touch. Unfortunately, a shallow spoon bowl and hard-to-clean ridges on the back make the spoon a little harder to use than it otherwise might be.

This is not the sturdiest spoon in spite of being called "heavy duty" but it is comfortable to hold and works well for most applications. The handle bent slightly when I used it to stir something thick and heavy, but it didn't break.

Extremly strong spoons. There will be no bending with these. Stir the thickest and heaviest things with ease. Rounded edges feel great in your hands. No staining or rust so far. best spoons I've ver used.

The way the handle curves prevents it from bending, and it's ergonomic to hold for long periods of time. The Jacob's pride line also has a great warranty.

I really like these spoons, and have purchased all three - slotted, perforated, and this one - the solid. It is a well made spoon constructed out of one piece stainless steel. It is heavy duty, and I cannot imagine how it would ever break or bend. This is the middle size - also available in a larger and smaller size. The spoon fits my hand well, and I'm sure I will be using it for many years. I would recommend these spoons.

This is a heavy weight spoon. Feels great in the hand. No bending when scooping food. I wash by hand; not sure how it would stand up to dishwasher.

I don't use this every day but it is perfect to scoop out the curved bottom edges of my huge soup pot. Very heavy duty with a nice strong handle. Absolutely no bending despite stirring heavy stews

The Vollrath Jacob's Pride 13" Heavy-Duty One-Piece Solid Stainless Spoon is strong and sturdy. It is very easy to clean and it will not rust. It can be used as a serving spoon. I would purchase it again.

Whoa, this is sturdy. I've always wanted a sturdier metal spoon than the thin metal ones I have been using. This does the trick and more. A great stainless steel feel and weight, plus the structure make it near impossible to bend this spoon.

Great 13 inch Vollrath stainless spoon. Strong and sturdy and will last a long long time. Nice that its stainless and we don't have to worry about it rusting.

This is a great spoon. It's super strong and the one piece construction guarantees that it won't fall apart mid stir and it's long enough to reach the bottom of most pots.

I would recommend this spoon to everyone. It is sturdy enough to get the job done, long enough to reach into a large pan, and looks great hanging on the wall. I just threw out all those bendable plastic spoons. I don't miss them. I will be buying a slotted spoon, dipper, turner, and several other items to go with this quality product.

Excellent really heavy duty construction. Will last forever even after constant and heavy use. Cleans easily and brushed finish is easy to work with in harsh lighting.

I bought this spoon for home use and it is rather big. The handle is pretty wide but extremely solid. If you can get past having a big spoon in your home kitchen that looks like you cook for giants i recommend it for any user. The quality is superb and it will most likely outlast me.

We love this spoon at my shop! I have this one and the 15 inch...both have a curved handle that makes it very comfortable to use. Sturdy, easy to clean...very good value. Everyone that cooks at my shop reaches for one of these first!

Good, solid spoon. One-piece construction. Edges of handle wrap around a little, meaning that it takes some effort to get the underside clean, but it's not nearly as bad as on some spoons I've seen. Should last pretty much forever.
