My husband and I have this old plastic serving spoon with a flat edge that we love, my mom gave it to us when she downsized her kitchen and it's are go to utensil and we really needed another one but I could never find one anywhere. Then I found this and the 14" Vollrath Jacob's Pride 64136 Heavy-Duty Basting Spoon, which I also bought. I love both of them. They are designed a little different but the usability of both is the same. I think the other one has a slightly sleeker look to it but it is a bit more expensive. I highly recommend either one and am sure you will be happy either way.

As I am writing this review I literally added 12 more of these to my cart. These are nice serving spoons. Great quality. What I really like about them is that the end and one side is flat so you can scrape the bottom/sides of a serving pan with them. The regular serving spoons are a pain. Our food is that good ;) When guests want those last few morsels while waiting those few seconds for us to reload the buffet, they can get them.
