I like this pan, the size is good for what I want and the base is heavy and spreads heat well. I use this pan to make confections like small batch hard candy and caramels. No issues with scorching/hot spots, has a thin edge for easy pouring, and the inside is completely smooth with no bumps from rivets or welds.

I love the shape of the saucier, it's wider and shallower, making it easier for whisking sauces. The multi layer bottom is great for heat retention. My only negative is the handle gets hot.
It looks small but this sauce pan is amazing Right size, very very sturdy and the best past it doesn’t stick to the bottom. I was mixing corn sauce and it was a success. Don’t wait buy it!
One of the cooking shows (probably Alton Brown) got me to thinking that I was missing something by not having a saucier or two. These are nicely-made, nice-looking, sturdy, heavy pans with flat rims and nice lids. The thick clad bottoms heat evenly, shallow sides for whisking. They were selling at a good price so I made an order. I haven't really used it enough to decide if I need this as much as a pro might, or maybe I just need to start upping my sauce game(!). Nice pans, tho....

This pan is not only beautiful to look at, but it cooks small amounts very nicely. Because the bottom is extra heavy, it cooks evenly and does not burn! I will be buying another Vigor product soon.
