This VacPak-It 186PPISTON piston is a direct replacement for a broken one. The piston is needed for operation of the vacuum pump that is used to remove air from the bag, so if you are not achieving the desired level of vacuum and the piston is determined to be the cause, this part can be used to fix the issue. This part is compatible with select VacPak-It vacuum packaging machines.
