We were paying someone to come in and do our windows for us regularly and this was a great one time investment that allowed us to eliminate the recurring expense. The pole is long enough for me to reach all of my standard height windows, though I would likely need an extension if my windows were taller.

I purchased this in combination with a longer pole. It's nice to have the shorter pole around, but I needed the longer ones for higher windows. When using a simple water and vinegar combination, I'm happy with the results.
