This container can hold up to eight garbage bags and is made of a durable galvanized steel body that is constructed to resist bears, including grizzlies up to 600 lb., polar bears, and black bears. Its powder coating stands up to harsh weather, preventing the deterioration of the receptacle's appearance for long-lasting use.

This receptacle can be mounted to a concrete pad or secured to a tree, a post, or other sturdy object using chains and cables (each sold separately) with its built-in access holes. It features reinforced corner brackets for enhanced protection against all wildlife, making it perfect for use at campsites or in parks, as well as commercial businesses or apartment complexes. Its included bear guard is designed to prevent bears from moving the lid with a stainless steel snap hook that keeps the lid securely shut. Also included are three color coded hinge flags that allow for easy receptacle recognition. Red and yellow can be used for garbage and blue can be used for recycling.
