This container is made of a durable galvanized steel body that is constructed to resist bears, including grizzlies up to 600 lb., polar bears, and black bears. Its powder coating stands up to harsh weather, preventing the deterioration of the receptacle's appearance for long-lasting use.

This receptacle can be mounted to a concrete pad or secured to a tree, a post, or other sturdy object using chains and cables (each sold separately) with its built-in access holes. It features a front door for easy access that latches securely shut, as well as a self-closing mailbox chute, preventing bears from being able to open it. Also included are three color coded hinge flags that allow for easy receptacle recognition. Red and yellow can be used for garbage and blue can be used for recycling. This receptacle is the ideal choice for keeping outdoor recreational or dining areas trash-free!
